Xiaoying Liu, Ph.D.

Xiaoying Liu, Ph.D., is Vice President of Assay Development at Zepto Life Technology. She leads the design, optimization, and validation of molecular and immunoassays to support the development of next-generation diagnostic platforms. Her scientific focus spans viral and bacterial pathogen detection, molecular assay development, and viral inactivation technologies.

Dr. Liu holds a Ph.D. in Pathogenic Organisms from Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University, and has over 15 years of experience in assay development, translational research, and diagnostic innovation. She has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications and is an inventor on multiple patents related to microbial detection and diagnostic technologies.

At Zepto, she brings scientific leadership and technical depth to accelerate product development and clinical readiness of Zepto’s testing solutions. Her current work centers on delivering high-sensitivity assays for infectious diseases and supporting cross-functional teams to bring robust, scalable diagnostics to market.
